Osho is a rascal, I like him. As a matter of fact I did not know he was a 'fanboy', he says he has more in common with Laozi than Buddha as Buddha is too holy, a perfect human, hence Buddha. I'm going to read it, there's quite a few pages.

In his commentaries on five parables from the Leih Tzu, Osho brings a fresh and contemporary interpretation to the ancient wisdom of Tao. Leih Tzu was a well-known Taoist master in the fourth century B.C., and his sly critiques of a Confucius provide abundant opportunities for the reader to explore the contrasts between the rational and irrational, the male and female, the...more

Tao: The Pathless Path is an extraordinary book by Osho in which he offers his interpretations of five parables taken from the Taoist classic the Lieh Tzu. His explorations and discussions of these short tales shed light on Taoist thought and create wonderful lessons in which to explore the nature of the Tao.

A good book - some new slants offered on timeless philosophies. But it is a bit wordy and repetitive at times.

I wish I could give this 10 out of 5 stars. It was inspired by something greater than the writer! This is one of those books that could transform the world and you. You know naked truth when you read it. This is absolutely brilliant, deep and yet childlike and playful.

Interesting premises, overall.
I did not agree with many things Osho said, though I do respect his take on them. For one, to respect the individual and not the society is meaningless; an individual is a part - no matter how insignificant - of the society. The crowd and the unique both deserve the same respect, one is not enlightened in their solitude, nor one is empty in crowds. Such takes are limited and people, complex creatures as they are, cannot be compressed and defined in narrow classific...more

Disappointed. Three books on Taoism by Osho and I now know that his understanding is not great of Taoism like Zen or Sufism. The idea of comparing Confucianism with Taoism from the starting defeats the whole idea of explaining Taoism. Wu Wei, action through inaction, I get it but I think Osho could have done better than a comparative study.

Great read. Examines a number of critical points about life and how to live it, and makes some very old parables feel relevant and important for today's living being. I especially appreciate the friendly tone of the writer, and the questions answered at the end.

“Always remember that when a new moment, a new insight, hovers around you, choose the new because the old has not done anything for you, so what is the point of going back? Even if the new proves wrong, then too, choose the new. At least it will be a new adventure; you will come to know something.” — 6 likes

tao upanishad by osho in Everybody has to pass it. Then you can move in theories, then you can philosophize, but you will not realize. Holiness means a life that is whole, a life that has not denied anything, a life that knows no denial, a life that has not said no to anything, a life that accepts, accepts the opposites, a life that doesn’t choose.
How does being mix with non-being? You become a being, but you are always looking into the non-being.
And when the sex center starts throbbing and spreading its waves over your body, the death center also starts throbbing.
Body has existed longer than mind, has passed through millions of lives, mindless lives, and has accumulated much wisdom. Exactly after the same time gap, after half an hour, the second plane went out of communication. If it were so, then methods could have been devised to avoid death, to deceive it, or not to go to that point where death waits for you, to bypass it or to im somebody else instead of you. It moves on emptiness.
Tao upanishad by osho in the earth is caught into it – finished. You don’t try to fill it with rubbish. Just the other day somebody was asking how it was possible for the inner emptiness tao upanishad by osho in have a center.

Two inches below the navel exists the point tao upanishad by osho in death. Science has come somehow to feel that in space there exist a few spaces which are holes, black holes – non- beings. And when I say nothingness I don’t mean nothingness – I only mean no-thingness.
But you have not heard the word “unmaterialization,” that things can simply go into un-matter, simply disappear.

Uddalaka had to create a device. There is another way: But Uddalaka didn’t want to deceive this child. But when you move in, just the reverse is the case: They could not go on flying forever and ever Whenever fear takes you you will not be able to breathe deeply – immediately the breathing becomes shallow.

But nothing has been found ever. It was not upsnishad a vagrant question in the mind, it was very deep-rooted. No, you are wrong. If you can love non-being then nothing can destroy you, you have transcended time and space.
That’s how Lao Tzu wanted everybody to breathe. For thousands of years women have not achieved orgasm.
